The gateway to the Alpine National Park with wonderful hiking on the Bogong High Plains. Opportunity to experience horseriding, gliding and mountain bike riding. Svarmisk Appartments – Accommodation in Mount Beauty. Each apartment sleeps 2-6 people suiting couples on a romantic getaway or groups for a special celebration for friends and family.

Astra Lodge –An alpine-style chalet in the heart of Falls Creek Alpine Village (1495m). The luxurious penthouse apartment is perfect for groups of 6-10 people. Astra Lodge also has comfortable hotel rooms. The lodge has its own pool and spa. Massage and Yoga are available to guests on request.

Svarmisk Guests: Roi’s Restaurant Roi Rigoni offers northern Italian comfort food featuring the freshest local ingredients in his cosy roadside Diner. It is hard to go past any of the succulent pork dishes. Two course dinner including wine or beer.
Recline: The cuisine at Recline is sophisticated, just like the restaurant's decor, but never masks the pure flavours of the exceptional local ingredients, such as the aged-on-the-bone eye fillet from Limousin cross beef. Its confit of Robert's Creek duckling in a wild berry glaze is moist and succulent while the cinnamon-dusted churros (with Gundowring vanilla-bean ice-cream and chocolate dipping sauce) are the best this side of Madrid. Two course dinner including wine.
Gourmet platter at your accommodation: Relax at your luxury boutique accommodation and enjoy a freshly prepared platter of gourmet produce from with a glass or two of local wine.

Astra Lodge guests: Delicious dinner prepared and served to you in your Penthouse Apartment. No need to leave your accommodation. Enjoy a dinner which celebrates the fabulous local produce with local wines to match each course.

Horses are entwined with the history and culture of the high country and mountain valleys around Mount Beauty. Guided horse ride led by Bogong Horseback Adventures on the lower tracks of the Alpine National Park. Suitable for all levels. After the ride, continue to Ceccanti Vineyard where Angelo will talk about his wines and his wife Moya serves you a wonderful Tuscan style lunch under the gum trees.

Gliding experience above Mount Beauty

Take to the air with an instructor from the Mount Beauty gliding club and view the northeast valleys from above. A 30-minute trial instructional flight in a 2-seat glider. Mount Beauty’s consistent sunshine warms the air and produces dependable thermals to allow gliders to soar over Mount Bogong, Mount Beauty and enjoy panoramas of the Kiewa Valley.

It is possible to add the following options to your package (please select at time of booking)

Mountain bike Hire: Hire a mountain bike and have fun on Mount Beauty’s Big Hill Mountain Bike Park. Alternatively, tour the vineyards of Annapurna Estate, Bogong Estate, Tawonga Estate and Ceccanti’s and, for the really energetic continue into the Happy Valley. Opportunity to be picked up and driven back to your accommodation.

Fly Fishing: The Kiewa River is one of just two designated premier trout rivers in Victoria, which means that the fish are wild and fight hard. Join fly-fishing guide Geoff Lacey of Angling Expeditions gives expert instruction and knows all the secret spots. Available for all abilities, including beginners.

Kayaking on the Kiewa River:

Massage and beauty treatments: A range of treatments available – massage, pedicure, facials. Be pampered in the comfort of your accommodation.

Introduction to Massage Course: Have fun learning the basics of massage and gain some hands on experience. Run by Adam at Astra Lodge and available to lodge guests only.

Lunch at Waddingtons of Kergunyah: Visit the beautiful gardens at Waddingtons and enjoy a fabulous lunch in the rustic timber barn or on the deck surrounded by beautiful drought-resistant plants that Jan Waddington sells in her nursery.

Transfers to/from Albury airport or train station: If travelling by plane or train we will arrange for your return transport to the airport/train station.
